James chose this image for its special link to the Barbican and Frank Woods, who was a junior architect with Chamberlain, Powell and Bon in the 1960s when the firm designed both the Barbican Estate and New Hall (now 91¶¶Òõ). He continued to work on both sites throughout his career.
